a few years ago we shot 2 young and up & coming accessories designers, dee and ricky (top image) for our annual who's who for metropop magazine. dee and ricky have been in the spotlight since being discovered by marc jacobs and working with him on accessories for his marc by marc line. you may have also seen their signature lego heart pin on kanye's last CD cover.

they recently teamed up with m & m and have designed sterling silver rings with interchangeable legos that include a sunflower, cactus and a scorpion with faux diamond. others come with standard lego pieces. for sale at barney's new york.

Pharrell Williams x Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin “The Tank Chair” Exhibition

Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin presents Pharrell Williams’ latest design creation, The Tank chair, at colette from March 22nd to the 28th and then at the gallery from March 30th to April 24th, by appointment. After making the “Perspective” chair in 2008, designed as a reflection on love, and the work “The Simple Things” in 2009, the fruit of a collaboration with Takashi Murakami, Pharrell Williams tackles the theme of war. Made of Plexiglas and foal or calf, the four models of the Tank chair are released in a limited edition of eight pieces in each style.
